Part One of No Way Out by Peggy Kern
No Way Out is a book by Peggy Kern and is also part of the Bluford series. No way out is about a boy named Harold who is living with his Grandmother who head recently fallen down the stairs. Harolds parents died when he was a young boy and his grandmother was the only person left in the family to be able to take care of him. Harold goes to Bluford high and is a junior but has no job yet. After being taken out of school and to the hospital to know his grandmother is severely hurt and has to pay for all the medical bills he decides to get a job. Harolds first idea was SuperFoods where he would get paid minimum wage for 8 hours a day. Harolds adds up his checks and how many days he would have to work to pay off 1 of the many bills they owed and it would take him to long. That's when Londell ( a drug dealer) gives a hand to Harold and helps him up by offering him a better job which he would get $50 a day for being his delivery boy. Harold even though his mother would kill him if she knew he even talked to Londell took the job to help with the bills. Now Harold wants to back out but he Owes Londell
