Is the book Blood is Thicker by Paul Langan is shoes a kinda mystery and worry ness that always keeps the book intense. Like at first we wanted to see how Savon would act when Hakeem got there. Later it was why Savon was acting all tough and mean with Hakeem and now it's how he is going to change Savon and the way he acts.

Blood is Thicker is a book out of the Bluford High Series which is about a 16 year old boy named Hakeem who is moving to Detroit after an incident with his father. Hakeem's father had Lung Cancer meaning he would no longer work so they where no longer able to live in California so Hakeem's uncle offered for them to come over to Detroit and he would help them. The thing is Hakeem doesn't want to leave behind his Bestfriends and Girlfriend Darcy. There is another book in the Bluford Series that also shows Darcy's point of view which is bieng read by my Homie Brian called Until We Meet Again. So far Hakeem has only been to Detroit once when he was 6 and he knew his cousin Savon who at the time was a little chubby but is now Muscular and built. Savon did not Welcome Hakeem so nicely to his home which confused Hakeem. Now Hakeem is Trying to figure out what to do.

Part One of No Way Out by Peggy Kern

No Way Out is a book by Peggy Kern and is also part of the Bluford series. No way out is about a boy named Harold who is living with his Grandmother who head recently fallen down the stairs. Harolds parents died when he was a young boy and his grandmother was the only person left in the family to be able to take care of him. Harold goes to Bluford high and is a junior but has no job yet. After being taken out of school and to the hospital to know his grandmother is severely hurt and has to pay for all the medical bills he decides to get a job. Harolds first idea was SuperFoods where he would get paid minimum wage for 8 hours a day. Harolds adds up his checks and how many days he would have to work to pay off 1 of the many bills they owed and it would take him to long. That's when Londell ( a drug dealer) gives a hand to Harold and helps him up by offering him a better job which he would get $50 a day for being his delivery boy. Harold even though his mother would kill him if she knew he even talked to Londell took the job to help with the bills. Now Harold wants to back out but he Owes Londell

In the book The Fallen by Paul Laungan Martin Luna had just been presented as the main character and is now in the Problem and Soulution stage in which he knew he needs to stop Frankie from kill hector because they would all be accounted for murder which Martin feels is not putting respect to Gueros name. Martin Decided he would rather have justice and get hector in jail but out of no where it hits him a flash back up Frankie beating this kid who had messed with his girl. Frankie left that boy crippled and ruined his life and that boy was hectors brother. That is why Frankie was bieng shot at in the drive by that killed Guero. They where not aiming for guero but for Frankie for crippling his brother.

Martin Luna is The main character living near Blu Ford high he was transferred from The Barrio over her because his mother wanted to give him a better life. Martin Luna's younger brother Guerro Luna had died months before they moved due to a Drive-by which made no sense because Guerro was just 8 why where they shooting at him? Martin had 4 other friends that where his Crew. It consisted of Frankie, Chago, Jesus, And Junie. Chago, Jesus, Junie, and Martin where all around the same age by Frankie was 18 and he always pushes around Martin and the crew. Well all together they want revenge on who ever killed Guerro and it was going to happen.

My View on The Fallen by Paul Langan

The Fallen is part of the Bluford Series, The author being Paul Langan. The Main Character Martin Luna who just transferred from his old school in the Barrio. Martina mom wants to give him a better life but once matter starts causing more trouble then he did in his old Barrio his mother starts to get very worried and scared. Martins Little Brother Guerro Died in the Barrio in a Drive-By done by Someone they later figure out is called a Hector. Martin wasn't really sure why his brother was killed or targeted in a drive-by but he didn't care all he wanted was revenge and he would needs his crew for that. It was a small group but a very tight one that consisted of Martin, Frankie, Chago, Judie, and Jesus. They had all grown up in the Barrio but Frankie was the oldest which means he always pushed them around. At Bluford Martin already had some problems with a Jock named Steve. Steve was Vickys Ex-Boyfriend, Vicky being Martins first Bluford friend and the cutest one too so Martin Quickly catches feelings for her but doesn't want her to get into his problems because she could wound up dead.

 Soon Martin solves the puzzle of his brothers death but in-between he not only gets the Cops involved but also makes Frankie an Enemy. Frankie had beaten Martin before and even left him in a hospital. Once Martin figured out that the bullet that killed his Baby Brother wasn't meant for him but for Frankie. That enraged Martin, which made him cut ties off with Frankie. The last part I was on Frankie was planning something for Martin and it wasn't gonna end pretty.
